EDUCATE! AGITATE!

DON'T VOTE! ORGANISE!

This is the message that people should be hearing. This is the kind of grass-roots campaigning that should be taking place on the streets and in our communities.

It is thoroughly disgusting that a bourgeois organisation like the Alliance for Workers Liberty (AWL) have set up an fb group openly advocating a vote for The Labour Party in the upcoming British General Election; the fb group is called, "Socialist Campaign to Stop the Tories and Fascists".

The name of this AWL front group is deliberately equating a victory for the Tories with the victory of the NAZI's in Germany in the 1930's, it also specifically covers up Labour capitalism, imperialism, zionism and racism. One of the tactics involved in this fb group is to delete any posts made that exposes Labour racism and imperialism. This is political cowardice and deliberate deceit.

The AWL are essentially a united front, broad based 'Labour Left' reformist drinking club. A significant number of its members are privileged middle-class university students, a number of whom are at Oxbridge.

The AWL are an unhinged and particularly vile sect of zionist opportunists who call for class collaboration and scabbing. Sean Matgamna is their ideological guru and he openly supports an Israeli ruling class bombing of Iran. In August 2008 two members left the AWL. Their resignations were part of a wave of discussion triggered by an article by Sean Matgamna which argued that, "The harsh truth is that there is good reason for Israel to make a precipitate strike at Iranian nuclear capacity from an Israeli ruling-class point of view..."

The AWL National Committee has expressed that is "against" albeit not "opposed" to such an an attack. That speaks for itself. It is also pompous none-sense. "Against" but not "opposed"?

How these people have the audacity to call themselves "Revolutionary Socialists" is staggering in its proportions.

Now we see Workers Power (WP) scrambling to form alliances with the "Left Platform" formerly of the Socialist Workers Party (SWP) 43 of whom recently resigned from the SWP - an SWP that openly calls for a vote for The Labour Party - the so-called "Left Platform" resigned from the SWP for not being broad enough!

WP are also standing a candidate in the next General Election and want to build alliances with Union leaders.They endorse the shameful sham that is bourgeois parliamentary politics and the illusion of democracy in Britain.

WP seem to think that opportunism is something organic that can just be avoided, something abstract. They miss the point. Opportunism is is rooted in very specific sections of the upper-working-class and lower-middle-class for very specific reasons.

The AWL and SWP et al are opportunist groups who are treacherous enemies of the working class both here and internationally. If they call for votes for a capitalist, imperialist, zionist, racist, anti-working-class party - then they are also capitalist, imperialist, zionist, racist and anti-working-class at an organisational level, maybe even at an individual level for some.

How can this not be the case?

How can these scoundrels be trusted?

How can such dastardly gangs claim to represent you or me?
